Day #3 on our early advent has gotten off to a better start than yesterday. We are solidly back on the single malt train and let’s hope that we are riding it for a least a few more stops, because today’s malt is delicious!
Behind door number three we have the Teeling Whiskey Company’s Single Malt Irish whiskey and I am bringing you this review all the warm from The Hague, in the Netherlands. Continue reading “Advent #3 – Teeling Single Malt”
Unless you’ve been living under a rock recently you will be very aware that Irish Distillers just dropped the long awaited Red Spot Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey!
The whiskey was launched in the Mitchell & Sons old wine and whiskey maturation cellars, under the streets of Dublin’s Merrion Square. Although, it seems that another Spot release flew under the radar at this event. Continue reading “Green Spot Cask Strength Single Cask”
They say, that in life you only have one opportunity to make a first impression. And even then, it can be a challenge to make a good one at that.
When I received my Drinks By The Dram Irish Whiskey Advent Calendar, I wasn’t sure what to expect. A collection of 24 random Irish whiskeys could literally generate any number of good, bad or indifferent experiences when you crack open that first door. The first impression is incredibly important for a project like this, it’s a sizable treat for yourself or another. Continue reading “Advent #1 – Tullamore D.E.W. 18 Year Old”
Halloween is over, and the Christmas season has officially begun. I for one am a big fan of the holiday season, as I pen this article, I am adorned in my favourite Christmas themed shirt and sweatshirt. Why so early in November you might ask? Well, it is because the lovely folks at Drinks By The Dram have been kind enough to choose Potstilled.com as one of their recipients for their beautifully themed Irish Whiskey Advent Calendar.
