Glendalough have been busy in the last few months releasing a myriad of whiskeys, each more exciting than the last, its hard to know which way to look. From their first Pot Still release, being finished in Wicklow Irish Oak, to their 17 Year Old single malt finished for two years in Mizunara or ultimately, who could have missed the 25 year old single malt matured in Bourbon, Sherry and Irish oak. Potstilled’s Whiskey of the Year 2018

Potstilled.com has been a fantastic outlet for my musings in relation to the Irish whiskey industry over the last four years (it was our website’s birthday this week *woo*), it has given me opportunities to travel the length and breadth of the country, seeking out some of the best whiskeys that are created on this beautiful island of ours. Glendalough 25 Year Old Single Malt – Irish Oak Finish

As many of you will know, the famed US government shut down has been temporarily been put on hold, federal workers are re-filling their posts and the cogs in the giant US government wheel, start to turn once more….. well for three weeks to be precise.
