Tonight saw the launch of the newest expression of the Mitchell & Sons/Irish Distillers Spot Range, Red Spot. The event took place in Mitchell’s old bonding cellars under the streets of Merrion Square, where attendees were brought through the heritage of the Spot Range and introduced to the whiskey that has been absent from the Irish whiskey landscape for over five decades.
