Founding Fathers’ Dave & Michele Cooper Faye, are releasing the eldest bottle of Dingle Whiskey to date, with the launch of their “An Chéad hOct” an 8 year old, cask strength, all sherry matured single malt.
The couple chose and filled their Dingle Founding Father’s Oloroso Sherry Hogshead in Feburary of 2013 under the guidance of Mary Ferriter (R.I.P.) and then Head Distiller.
This cask was left to mature in Dingle’s Atlantic warehouses for 8 long years, where it was then hand bottled at a healthy 60.1% ABV.
The Dingle Whiskey An Chéad hOcht will be released tomrrow morning (April 15th) at 9am Irish time.
Only 240 bottles are being released, and Irishmalts.com are the exclusive retailer for this release.
